Cult of Heavy Art Show, September 2024

In September 2024, Zac assembled a truly remarkable amount of his Heavy Clothing items that he has made and sold over the past 10+ years and hosted the Cult of Heavy Art Show at Neverest Studio in St Paul.  It lasted 2 days, September 6th & 7th.  I attended the night of the 6th.

It was a trip down memory lane.  While I didn't know Zac at the time, I was there for Heavy's first pop up at the Bearded Lady back in 2010 and bought a hat.  The Heavy sticker I got from him is still on my toolbox.  See this old blogpost for pics or relive all my old Bearded Lady photos using the tag.  Zac has gotten so many talented artists to make shirts, hats, and other things for his brand over the years.  I own a handful of them (though many of mine tend to be a bit faded now) and I recognized most of the designs.  Some were new to me, so it was really cool to see them.

All the old stuff was not for sale but there was a selection of new items available.  Go check out his latest stuff for sale in the Heavy Store.

Gabe was sporting a very well-worn Heavy / Full Tilt shirt.

Lots of familiar faces swung by and it was a great night.  Looking forward to seeing what Zac does next.  I know there are big plans in the works for Full Tilt this year.  Don't miss it.
