The Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In #47 was held in Albert Lea, MN at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds from June 7th though the 9th. It was the same location where the club hosted the 48th Van Nats and was a change from recent years where the Good Times Truck-In was held in Preston, MN. Unsurprisingly, I drove my 78 Dodge.
Quite a few people head down Thursday to get started early, but I worked Thursday and headed to Heavy Thursday that night. I packed up and headed down Friday and a lot of vans were already there. I ran around snapping photos while the sun was starting to set.

I recently purchased a fisheye lens for my camera and was excited to try it out at an event. The photos provide super wide-angle (very useful for interior shots), the distortion is pretty fun to play with, and the aperture makes for some awesome sunburst effects too.

The awards looked so good this year. Shane put a lot of detail in the record labels. Best in Show got a gold record, of course.
Tomboyy played both Friday and Saturday nights and were great.

Justin recently reconfigured the interior of his van. It looked so good, especially with his lighting! You can see how the fisheye lens captures so much at once.
