I went to the 66th annual Gopher State Timing Association (GSTA) Rod and Custom Spectacular on Sunday, April 7th at the State Fairgrounds. The show was both Saturday and Sunday but I took advantage of the nice weather on Saturday to work on my own projects. With all the rain on Sunday, I certainly appreciated the show being indoors. At least it wasn't snowing.
Here's one of Jim's go-kart vans, "Wild Child". I'd love to build one of my own one day.
The model car display is always cool to see.

I'll be incorporating some Corvette bits in my Schwinn Stingray project.
I have a set of these emblems that'll be going on my bike:
I found Nemo!
Robert's panhead is just soooooo good and it's been making the rounds at all the shows lately.
The fake spilled metalflake was such a cool touch in this display:
I haven't seen this bike in a few years:
This was my favorite car at the show, "Bad Investment". It's absolutely insane, and it's street legal. It's powered by 2 Toyota Supra engines!!!
See, it even has a license plate with current tabs:
Well, that's it from this year's GSTA show. The weather's warming up and lots more events are ahead (see my
Event Calendar for a short list). See you out there!
