I got a plastic throttle sleeve from Drag Specialties.
Here's the right grip pressed down onto the throttle sleeve:
I really liked my Kuryakyn Iso Grips. They were very comfortable and looked good too. The red and black trim rings matched my tank and all my grips and pegs matched each other. They even complemented the switch housings. It was a tough decision to change them up.
Here's the throttle side before everything was tightened down. At first glance, I wasn't sure about the change but I pressed on.
I completely destroyed the rubber in the left grip when I removed it. Apparently, I went a little heavy on the crazy glue when I originally installed them. It took a rubber strap wrench and a lot of twisting to finally break it free.
Here are both grips in place.
I am happy with the change and just ordered a pair of matching shifter pegs direct from Hippy Killer Garage.
